One of Talking Prisoner host's (Matt Batten) most cherished items in his Prisoner collection is the original Prisoner officer's uniform worn by Delva Hunter (played Officer Joan Barfield).

The uniform is over 47 years old and features an authentic 'Delva' name tag from the wardrobe department, as seen in the photo.

Joan Barfield is a recurring background officer at Wentworth Detention Centre, known for stepping in to cover shifts for other officers as needed.

She first speaks in Episode 394, delivering a single line while discussing Sonia Stevens' arrival with Officer Powell and Officer Morris.
From episodes 295 to 481, Officer Barfield appears in the credits sequence, prominently featured during the night-time lock-up scenes.

Throughout her tenure, Officer Barfield is often seen looking bemused or walking through the prison alongside another officer or prisoner. She is present during key moments, including Joan Ferguson's arrival, Doreen's third and final departure from Wentworth, and is mentioned several times in subsequent seasons.
After Episode 481, Joan Barfield is not mentioned, suggesting that she left Wentworth and resigned from her position.

Another treasured piece in Matt's Prisoner collection is an original Gate Guard's jacket.
Although the jacket lacks a name tag, it is difficult to pinpoint which specific guard wore it. It's likely that it was used by several actors throughout the show's run.

The turnover of gate guards on Prisoner means this jacket could have been worn by various actors who played these roles.

This authentic Prisoner inmate uniform, as confirmed by a former member of the wardrobe department, was worn by many actresses throughout the show's run.
It remains in excellent condition with the WDC logo clearly visible on the right side of the dress, highlighting its historical significance.
