About Anna Hruby:

Anna Hruby, born on October 19, 1960, is an Australian actress with an extensive career in television and theatre.

Her first notable recurring role was as Sandy, the girlfriend of Roger Gordon, in The Young Doctors from 1977 to 1978. Hruby gained further recognition for her portrayal of Paddy Lawson in "Prisoner." Her other television appearances include roles in Sons and Daughters as Tracy Kingsford, A Country Practice, All Saints, Cop Shop, and mini-series such as The Harp in the South, Poor Man's Orange, and Seven Little Australians. She was also a regular on Home and Away, playing Judith Ackroyd, and on Fireflies, as Rebekah Sharp.

In addition to acting, Hruby is a voice-over artist, providing voices for advertisements and network promotions for Foxtel and Channel 7. She is currently the voice for Telstra, Australia's largest telecommunications company, and is often referred to as 'The Telstra Lady,' delivering many of the company's recorded messages, such as "Your call could not be connected" and other menu prompts.
