About Kate Hood:

Kate Hood, an Australian actress from Sydney, pursued drama studies in New Zealand before joining The Mercury Theatre. She gained international recognition for her portrayal of Kath Maxwell, a misunderstood character, in the final season of the iconic television drama *Prisoner*.

Hood appeared as Jill Fowley in three episodes of Blue Heelers during its sixth season and lent her voice to numerous TAC commercials. She also had a role in the film Mesmerized, directed by Jodie Foster.
