About Peter Hayes:

Peter Hayes, born in Melbourne on September 28, 1957, is a Sydney-based actor and director with British training, specialising in television, film, and theatre. He is widely recognised for his role as Dr. Steven Ryan in the long-running Australian soap opera Prisoner, where he portrayed a young doctor and undercover handyman from 1985 to 1986.

In addition to Prisoner, Hayes appeared in Rafferty's Rules as Peter Booth in 1986, and had roles in Westbrook as Golledge, Whitlam: The Power and the Passion (2013), and Home and Away as Alan Willis. He also featured in Farscape and played a reporter in A Difficult Woman (1998).
